It truly is a gift when we have a personal connection to a project, and this was one of those gifts. It has been a privilege to get to walk alongside Vicky to bring the Every Child Collective (a local Fort Myers/Estero based nonprofit) website design to life, and I’m so excited to share about it!

About the non-profit: Every Child Collective
Before I (Christy) started Crumpton Creative, I was the Communications Director at Summit Church, one of the largest local churches in the Southwest Florida area. At Summit, I was in charge of all things creative & communications, from print designs to website designs and everything in between, for both the church as a whole and the subministries under the Summit umbrella. One of those subministries was Every Child Initiative, and by connection, Every Child Collective. And that is exactly how I got connected to Vicky Stinziano!
Vicky’s role at Summit is two-fold, handling both Every Child Initiative (serving vulnerable children within Summit Church in Fort Myers) and Every Child Collective (helping other churches serve vulnerable children outside of Summit Church/Southwest Florida). During my time at Summit, Vicky’s passion for serving vulnerable children was truly contagious, and I felt increasingly drawn to discover how I too could serve vulnerable children here in Southwest Florida. Who would’ve known that I’d get to serve this ministry directly through designing their website?!
I do have to brag a little on ECC before I go further. Every Child Collective is special because it’s not a one-size-fits-all approach to ministry. ECC seeks to equip local churches to serve vulnerable children in their unique context. No two churches are the same, so no two ministries ought to be either. Vicky’s team at ECC does a beautiful job of truly serving the unique needs of local churches while keeping vulnerable children front and center.
Even without a website guiding their digital presence, Vicky and the ECC team has already helped dozens of churches start ministries for vulnerable children in their communities. How amazing!! When she reached out to me ready to build a true online home for ECC, I knew this was going to be the next big step that put ECC on the map and more importantly, exponentially increased the number of churches living into their call to serve vulnerable children in their communities.

Fort Myers Nonprofit Web Design with Clear Positioning and Scalability
The goals for the ECC website were simple: clearly communicate the mission and vision for ECC, and launch a virtual home that could scale with the nonprofit. We weren’t just looking for the website to look good (although we did want it to, and we absolutely does); we wanted the site to communicate the mission of ECC in such a way that church leaders would feel seen, they’d choose to engage with the mission, and real change would take place in equipping local churches to serve the vulnerable.
As a Fort Myers nonprofit web design studio, as well as Christians ourselves, this is work we care deeply about. I’ve spent years at the intersection of design and ministry (at Summit Church, and serving a variety of other spaces like Delight Ministries, For the Girl, and Called Creatives Publishing), and I understand deeply the importance of functionality, mission-driven communication, and heart-driven visuals when it comes to building a successful nonprofit website. It was this experience that truly drove every decision we made for ECC.

Estero Web Design That Shows Up on Google
When Vicky initially reached out, she wasn’t super concerned with SEO for the project. After all, weren’t most people going to hear about them through word of mouth? This is the conversation we have with a lot of organizations who rely on word of mouth or social media, but even in these scenarios, we make sure the website is set up with a strong SEO foundation. There is rarely an organization who complains about having a great ranking on Google!
That being said, we prioritized the following for setting up Every Child Collective for strong nonprofit website SEO…
- Relevant SEO-driven keywords (focused more on nonprofits/churches concerns than local searches, since ECC is a national organization) integrated throughout the website copy and images
- Images compressed to maximize the site speed (because yes, this matters a lot!)
- Proper H1, H2, etc. site heading structure
- Accurate and SEO-driven meta-titles and meta-descriptions for every nonprofit website page
What Vicky Had to Say
Vicky was incredibly kind to leave us a review on Google. Here are her sweet words…
“I brought a general idea of what we wanted for our website to Crumpton Creative and Christy executed it even better than I had imagined. She listened, asked questions, and imagined with me what the site could look like. She’s a pleasure to work with, professional, and eager to please her clients. I am grateful for her work and our experience with her.”
